Translational framework for public health

A paper setting out a translational framework for public health has been published in BMC Public Health

The paper, by a group of authors from the PHSRN, sets out an alternative to the linear model of translation proposed in the report of the Cooksey review.  It seeks to capture the whole range of ways in which public health evidence is translated into policy and practice.  A provisional pdf is available at: http://www.biomedcentral.com/1471-2458/9/116
